DOE baseload coal bids.

1. All records relating to the invitation by the Department of Energy (DoE) to interested parties dated 15 December 2014 to submit proposals for the finance, construction, operation and maintenance of coal baseload power generation facilities adopting power generation from either of pulverised coal or fluidised bed type technologies in respect of the Coal Baseload IPP Procurement Programme (CBIPP Programme) for the purpose of entering into, among others, an Implementation Agreement (IA) with DOE and a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Eskom Holdings SOC Limited (Eskom) as the buyer.  In particular:

1.1. The Request for Qualification and Proposals in respect of the CBIPP Programme to be made available to prospective bidders (to which reference is made on https://www.ipp-coal.co.za/Home/Procurement);

1.2. All agreements, minutes of public meetings and policy documents preceding the aforementioned proposal invitation of 15 December 2014;

1.3. A copy of the draft IA to be entered into by the successful bidder with DOE, and any further records relating to the envisaged IA; and

1.4. A copy of the draft PPA to be entered into between the seller and Eskom as the buyer, and any further records relating thereto.
