We would like to evoke Section 46 of the Promotion of Access of Information Act (Mandatory disclosure in public interest) for any and all records relating to:

1. Copies of Sasol’s various Permits for all their incinerators in Secunda and Sasolburg - issued by the Department of Environment (under the old legislation - Atmospheric Pollution Prevention Act No 45 of 1965) and any other that could have been renewed under the new legislation, Air Quality Act. From 1990 to 2012.


2. The results of a 1992 trial on the effect of the waste on hay conducted for Sasol by a Dr. Willem A Schultheiss, in which we are made to understand that all the livestock in the study died of fluoride poisoning.
