“Records reflecting the make and model of all crowd management (i) equipment (including surveillance equipment, devices and soft/hardware), (ii) weapons (including crowd-control / less lethal weapons and devices); and (iii) ammunitions, whether standard or specialised (a) used, (b) procured in the last twelve months or (c) in the process of being procured for use by Public Order Police Units and any other unit (including the Johannesburg Metro Police) in the execution of peaceful crowd management and public order restoration operations. Noting that to the extent that any records forming a part of the request may or must be refused we are still seeking access to every other record forming part of the request.”
