Records relating to declarations and / or declassifications of Strategic Installations for financial years from 2007/8, up to and including 2014/15.

Any and all records relating to the following financial years:

a. 2007/8;
b. 2008/9;
c. 2009/10;
d. 2010/11;
e. 2011/12;
f. 2012/13;
g. 2013/14; and
h. 2014/15

That:

1. List places or areas declared as “strategic installations” as at the end of that financial year;

2. Contain the definition and / or criteria of what constitutes “strategic installations” currently being applied by SAPS;

3. Relate to proposals to declare an area or a place as a strategic installation, including but not limited to “security matrix results” and “recommendations on the proposed declaration” by the “Minister’s Advisory Committee”;

3. Relate to decisions to declare places or areas “strategic installations”, including but not limited to written notifications to the owner of any place, area or institution which has been declared a “strategic installation”;

4. Relate to decisions to “downgrade” places or areas previously declared “strategic installations”; and

6. Were used as the basis for the statistical information provided about “strategic installations” reported in the SAPS annual performance plans and annual reports.
