Request for copies of all and any records of the late Simon Tembuyise Mndawe who died in detention under the security legislation at the John Vorster Square on 09 March 1983

Request for copies of all or any records of the late Simon Tembuyise Mndawe who died in detention under the security legislation at the John Vorster Square on 09 March 1983, the alleged cause of death was reported to be suicide by hanging,  however there have been concerns about how he died. The record must include but not limited to:

i. Copies of intelligence reports;
ii. Copies of post mortem reports;
iii. Copies of medical reports prepared by the district surgeon, Dr Frans Viljoen who was responsible for examining Simon Tembuyise Mndawe’s at the time of his arrest and;
