o Description of record or relevant part of the record:
In relation to mining activities by Anglo Operations Limited, with registration number 1921/006730/06, at its New Vaal Colliery, situated on the banks of the Vaal River in the Maccauvlei area, immediately south of Vereeniging in the Free State Province, the following records are requested:
1. The current atmospheric emission licence/permit and any pending applications for an atmospheric emission licence;
2. AND air quality monitoring reports submitted to the Department of Environmental Affairs (“DEA”) in terms of the atmospheric emission licence/permit from date of issue to date;
3. AND the atmospheric emission licence/permit that preceded the current atmospheric emission licence/permit;
4. AND all air quality monitoring reports submitted to the DEA in terms of the previous atmospheric emission licence/permit from date of issue until its replacement by the current atmospheric emission licence/permit;
5. AND the current waste management licence/permit and any pending applications for a waste management licence;
6. AND monitoring results submitted to the DEA in terms of the waste management licence/permit from date of issue to date;
7. AND the waste management licence/permit that preceded the current waste management licence/permit;
8. AND monitoring results submitted to the DEA in terms of the previous waste management licence/permit from date of issue until its replacement by the current waste management licence/permit;
9. AND all audits submitted to the DEA in terms of the atmospheric emission licences/permits, and waste management licences/permits referred to in items 1,3,5, and 7 above;
10. AND the water use licence/permit that preceded the current water use licence/permit;
11. AND the water monitoring results submitted to the DWA in terms of the previous water use licence from date of issue until its replacement by the current water use licence.
