In relation to the mining activities by Anglo Operations Limited, with registration number 1921/006730/06, at its New Vaal Colliery New Vaal colliery is situated on the banks of the Vaal River in the Maccauvlei area, immediately south of Vereeniging in the Free State Province, the following records are requested:

1. the current atmospheric emission licence/permit and any pending applications for an atmospheric emission licence;

2. air quality monitoring reports submitted to the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) in terms of the atmospheric emission licence/permit from date of issue to date;

3. the atmospheric emission licence/permit that preceded the current atmospheric emission licence/permit;

4. air quality monitoring reports submitted to the DEA in terms of the previous atmospheric emission licence/permit from date of issue until its replacement by the current atmospheric emission licence/permit;

5. the current waste management licence/permit and any pending applications for a waste management licence;

6. monitoring results submitted to the DEA in terms of the waste management licence/permit from date of issue to date;

7. the waste management licence/permit that preceded the current waste management licence/permit;

8. monitoring results submitted to the DEA in terms of the previous waste management licence/permit from date of issue until its replacement by the current waste management licence/permit;

9. all audits submitted to the DEA in terms of the atmospheric emission licences/permits, and waste management licences/permits referred to in items 1,3,5, and 7 above;
