DRD Gold Limited / Crown Operation

The following records relating to the water use, listed activities, specific activities and mining activities by DRD Gold Limited (with registration number 1895/000926/06) and/or Crown Gold Recoveries Pty Ltd (with registration number 1988/005115/07) and/or any subsidiary or holding company of the aforementioned and/or any other entity associated with DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation (hereinafter referred to as ?DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation?) which activities are adjacent to Riverlea, Riverlea Extension 1 and Riverlea Extension 2 in West Rand, Johannesburg.

a. The water use licences granted by the Department of Water Affairs for DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation;
ALTERNATIVELY, and in the event that a licence or licences have been applied for but not yet granted or denied, all the water use licence applications submitted to the Department of Water Affairs for DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation;
b. AND all the Water Monitoring Reports submitted to the Department of Water Affairs for DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation;
c. AND a map and/or list indicating where water monitoring is taking place in or around DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation;
d. AND the mining right and the mining permit granted by the Department of Mineral Resources in respect of DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation;
e. AND the Environmental Management Programme(s) approved by the Department of Mineral Resources in respect of DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation;
ALTERNATIVELY, and in the event that the Environmental Management Programme(s) have been submitted but not yet approved by the Department of Mineral Resources, all the and/or Environmental Management Programme(s) submitted to the Department of Mineral Resources for DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation;
f. AND records of financial provision and its calculation for the rehabilitation and/or management of negative environmental impacts provided in respect of the mining activities of DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation including but not limited to, any bank guarantees, trust documents or proof of payment of financial provision for rehabilitation and any proof of payment in terms of Regulation 53(2) to the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act 28 of 2002 and Gazette Notice R527 of 23 April 2004. 
g. AND all monitoring and performance reports submitted to the Department of Mineral Rights in terms of Regulation 55 to the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act 28 of 2002 which relate to the mining activities at DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation, and which reports must be submitted to the Minister of Minerals and Energy once every two year period. This includes, but is not limited to, all relevant scientific expert reports;
h. AND all communications emanating from all inspections conducted in terms of section 92 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act 28 of 2002, entitling any person authorized in terms of the aforementioned legislation to conduct an inspection of any activity, process or operation carried out in or upon an area or place in question, and which inspections relate to mining activities at DRD Gold Limited?s Crown Operation. This includes, but is not limited to, the inspection reports themselves, written communications and notes detailing any oral communications; 
i. AND any Environmental Authorsations issued in terms of the National Environmental Management Act 107 of 1998 in respect of the listed and/or specific activities at DRD Gold Limited’s Crown Operation.
