Records relating to mining activities at the Vuna Colliery,

In respect of the mining activities at the Vuna Colliery, situated on portion 5 and a portion of the remaining extent of portion 2 of the Farm Zonnebloem 396 JS, Middelburg, Mpumalanga Province, including the Vuna Colliery North Block project area, which activities are undertaken by Vuna Mining Enterprises (Pty) Ltd and/or any subsidiary or holding company of the aforementioned and/or any other entity associated with the Vuna Colliery, including the North Block project area:
a. A copy of any application for a closure certificate in terms of section 43(3) of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act 28 of 2002 (MPRDA) submitted to the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR);
b. A copy of any environmental risk report, contemplated in terms of Regulation 60 of Gazette Notice 527 of 23 April 2004 submitted with an application for a closure certificate to the DMR;
c. A copy of any closure certificate issued by the Minister of Mineral Resources in terms of section 43 of the MPRDA;
d. A copy of any confirmation from the Department of Water Affairs in terms of section 43(5) of the MPRDA that the provisions pertaining to health and safety and management of potential pollution to water resources have been addressed;
e. A copy of any document or record identifying any portion of the financial provision contemplated in terms of section 41 of MPRDA returned in accordance with section 43(6) of the MPRDA;
f. A copy of any application to transfer environmental liabilities and responsibilities approved by the Minister of Mineral Resources in terms of Regulation 58(1) of the MPRDA and Gazette Notice 527 of 23 April 2004;
g. A copy of any record of the environmental liabilities and responsibilities identified in the environmental management programme and/or closure plan transferred to a competent person in accordance with Regulation 58(2) of the MPRDA and Gazette Notice 527 of 23

April 2004; and
h. A copy of any record of consultation by the Minister of Mineral Resources with relevant Government departments or organs of State in terms of Regulation 58(3) of the MPRDA
