Request in respect of the current and proposed mining activities at the Vuna Colliery,

In respect of the current and proposed mining activities at the Vuna Colliery, situated on portion 5 and a portion of the remaining extent of portion 2 of the Farm Zonnebloem 396 JS, Middelburg, Mpumalanga Province, including the Vuna Colliery North Block project area, which activities are undertaken by Vuna Mining Enterprises (Pty) Ltd and/or any subsidiary or holding company of the aforementioned and/or any other entity associated with the Vuna Colliery, including the North Block project area:
a. A copy of any environmental management programme (including appendices/annexures) approved by the Department of Mineral Resources; and
b. A copy of any environmental management programme (including appendices/annexures) submitted to the Department of Mineral Resources; and
c. In the event that these records are not included in the approved and/or proposed EMPRs respectively referred to above, copies of records showing the approved financial provision provided, in accordance with Section 41(1) of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act 28 of 2002 (MPRDA), including, but not limited to, the amount and calculation of that provision; and bank guarantees, trust documents or proof of payment in terms of regulation 53 of the MPRDA; and
d. Copies of records of financial provision as increased to the satisfaction of the Minister of Mineral Resources in accordance with section 41(3) of the MPRDA and the calculation of environmental liability in accordance with Section 41(3) for the reassessment periods of 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, including, but not limited to, bank guarantees, trust documents or proof of payment in terms of regulation 53 of the MPRDA
