Request to DEA for documents pertaining to the APPA certificates of Camden, Komati, Hendrina and Arnot power stations

1.  In respect of Eskom’s Arnot power station:
1.1. all monitoring reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.3 of the registration certificate issued to Eskom in terms of the Atmospheric Pollution Prevention Act, 1965 (APPA);
1.2. all non-compliance reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.8 of the APPA registration certificate;
1.3. the last three annual reports in terms of condition 7.8 of the APPA registration certificate;
1.4. records indicating compliance with condition 7.10 of the APPA registration certificate;
1.5. the last three internal legal compliance audit reports related to the APPA registration certificate; and
1.6. the last three external legal compliance audit reports related to the APPA registration certificate;

2. In respect of Eskom’s Komati power station:
2.1. all monitoring reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.3 of the registration certificate issued to Eskom in terms of APPA;
2.2. all monitoring reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.6 of the APPA registration certificate;
2.3. all non-compliance reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.9 of the APPA registration certificate;
2.4. the last three annual reports in terms of condition 7.9 of the APPA registration certificate;
2.5. records indicating compliance with condition 7.11 of the APPA registration certificate;
2.6. the last three internal legal compliance audit reports related to the APPA registration certificate; and
2.7. the last three external legal compliance audit reports related to the APPA registration certificate;

3. In respect of Eskom’s Hendrina power station:
3.1. all monitoring reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.3 of the registration certificate issued to Eskom in terms of APPA;
3.2. all non-compliance reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.8 of the APPA registration certificate;
3.3. the last three annual reports in terms of condition 7.8 of the APPA registration certificate;
3.4. records indicating compliance with condition 7.10 of the APPA registration certificate;
3.5. the last three internal legal compliance audit reports related to the APPA registration certificate; and
3.6. the last three external legal compliance audit reports related to the APPA registration certificate.

4. In respect of Eskom’s Camden power station:
4.1. all monitoring reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.3 of the registration certificate issued to Eskom in terms of the Atmospheric Pollution Prevention Act, 1965 (APPA);
4.2. the fugitive dust management plan in terms of condition 7.4 of the APPA registration certificate;
4.3. all monitoring reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.6 of the APPA registration certificate;
4.4. all non-compliance reports submitted for the last three years in terms of condition 7.9 of the APPA registration certificate;
4.5. the last three annual reports in terms of condition 7.9 of the APPA registration certificate;
4.6. records indicating compliance with condition 7.11 of the APPA registration certificate;
4.7. the last three internal legal compliance audit reports related to the APPA registration certificate; and
the last three external legal compliance audit reports related to the APPA registration certificate.
