Copies of the following records are requested:
1. In respect of the sulphur plant leakage at the Eskom Duvha Power Station towards the end of 2013 and the refurbishment thereof from about May 2014:

1.1. the initial report - apparently dated 26 May 2014 - compiled by Eskom relating to the nature of the incident, identifying any risks posed by the incident to public health, safety and property, the toxicity of substances or by-products released by the incident, and any steps taken by Eskom to avoid or minimise the effects of the incident on public health and the environment (section 30(3) of NEMA);

1.2. any directives issued by the DEA or other authorities in terms of section 30(6) and (7) of NEMA;

1.3. all evidence of any measures taken by the DEA and other authorities in terms of section 30(8) of NEMA; and

1.4. the DEA’s comprehensive report on the incident in terms of section 30(10) of NEMA, as well as any other authorities’ comprehensive reports in the DEA’s possession.
