Request for WML, AEL, EAs and compliance reports with respect to Kelvin Power Station

1. A copy of the Waste Management Licence (WML) in terms of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, Act 59 of 2008 (the Waste Act), for Kelvin Power Station; alternatively, if there is no WML, a copy of the relevant permit in terms of the Environment Conservation Act 73 of 1989;

2.  The most recent annual report reporting on compliance with the WML or permit, submitted to Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality for the above power station;

3. A copy of the Atmospheric Emission Licence (AEL) issued in terms of the National Environmental Management Air Quality Act 39 of 2004 (NEMAQA) for Kelvin Power Station;
alternatively, if the AEL has not been granted:
3.1. a copy of the applicable Atmospheric Pollution Prevention Act, 1965 (APPA) registration certificate, and
3.2. the pending application for an AEL.

4. The most recent annual report reporting on compliance with the AEL submitted to Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality for the above power station;
alternatively,  if there has not yet been a report on compliance in terms of the relevant AEL (or the AEL has not yet been granted):
4.1. the most recent APPA registration certificate compliance report.

5. Copies of the environmental authorisations issued in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998) in relation to the Kelvin Power Station.
