Centre for Environmental Rights requests copies of permits issued by Cape Nature ito TOPS Regs.

Copies of all current registration certificates issued in terms of Regulation 27 of the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act (10/2004): Threatened or Protected Species Regulations, 2007 (TOPS Regs), all current permits issued in terms of the TOPS Regs and all current management plans prepared in terms of the National Norms and Standards for the Management of Elephants in South Africa, 2008, issued in terms of section 9 of the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act, 2004 for the following captive elephant facilities:

1. Gondwana Game Reserve, (Mossel Bay).

2. Inverdoorn, (Ceres).

3. Aquila Private Game Reserve, (located near Touws River).

4. Botlierskop Private Game Reserve ,(Little Brak River).

5. Buffelsdrift Game Lodge (Oudshoorn Elephant Company), (Oudshoorn).

6. Fairy Glen Game Reserve, (Worcester).

7. Garden Route Game Lodge, (Albertinia).

8. Indalu Game Reserve, (Mossel Bay)

9. Knysna Elephant Park (KEP), (Knysna) (including those elephants moved from Elephants of Eden to KEP in 2014)

10. The Elephant Sanctuary, (The Crags, Plettenberg Bay).
