Any and all records related to the development of 28 projects in wind, solar and small hydro technologies, to be developed in the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Northern Cape and in the Free State

This document responds to a PAIA request stating that the department does not hold progress reports, does not allocate budget to sellers and cannot indicate the budget spent on the 28 projects in wind, solar and small hydro technologies to be developed in the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Northern Cape and the Free State, following the President’s 2013 State of the Nation Address, indicating contracts of R47 billion had been signed for these renewable energy projects. The document also notes some information about the request that would not otherwise be available, including that the agreements with sellers commenced on 5 November 2012.
