Record summary
This video of the aftermath of Boipatong Massacre which took place on the night of 17 June 1992. Where people were armed with assault rifles, pistols, spears, sticks and machetes and killed many residents of KwaMadala hostel. The attackers were supporters of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) which was the rival party of the African National Congress (ANC).(The quality of the video is very poor and cannot be uploaded to the website, but it is available for viewing in our offices at SAHA)
