Request for records relating to the “future generation” (or “sale” and / or “lease”) of the Pretoria West and Rooiwal Power Stations.

Copies of any and all records relating to the “future generation” (or “sale” and / or “lease”) of the Pretoria West and Rooiwal Power Stations including but not limited to:

1. Records detailing the valuation of both the Pretoria West and Rooiwal Power Stations, as required in terms of the provisions of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations, issued in terms of the Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (MFMA), and the outcomes of such valuations;
2. Proof of public consultation on the “future generation” (or “sale” and / or “lease”) of the Pretoria West and Rooiwal Power Stations specifically including:
a. Invitations to all such consultations [which may take the form of: letters, emails, print outs of text or sms messages or screenshots of invitation over social media (eg. Facebook or Twitter)];
b. Attendance registers for all such consultations;
c. Agendas for all such consultations; and
d. Minutes for all such consultations; and
3. Records detailing progress with regard to the timeline for the “future generation” of the aforementioned power stations, as detailed in the Council’s resolution dated 27 November 2014 (see PFD attachment entitled “SAH-2015-COJ-0001_Form_A_Attachment_A”) on pages 13, 14 and 15 of that resolution (see PFD attachment entitled “SAH-2015-COJ-0001_Form_A_Attachment_B”) [which records may take the form of internal office memos, emails or other records of communications between relevant stakeholders].
