Copies of all ans any records of the late Simon Tembuyise Mndawe who died in detention under the security legislation at the John Vorster Square on 09 March 1983

1. Copies of all and any records of the late Simon Tembuyise Mndawe who died in detention under the security legislation at the John Vorster Square on 09 March 1983, the alleged cause of death was reported to be suicide by hanging. There have been concerns about the alleged cause of his death.  The record must include but not limited to:

i. All and any dockets which detail the investigation, arrest, and charges made in relation to the death of Simon Tembuyise Mndawe.

2. Copies of any or all medical reports prepared by the district surgeon, Dr Frans Viljoen who was responsible for examining Simon Tembuyise Mndawe’s at the time of his arrest, that details, the extent of his injuries during the physical examination.
3. Any other relevant records.
